Clinical Research IO, also known as CRIO, is a small company that provides a centralized software platform for clinical research sites to manage clinical trials. During my 4 years with CRIO I was a team lead and senior software engineer for the Data Migrations team. I developed translation and normalization code layers to standardize all incoming data. This was needed in order to replace existing manual data import processes. Once the data migration process was more streamlined, I then coordinated with 300+ clinical research sites to categorize and onboard disparate data sources. In order to enable larger scale data migrations from multi-site research networks, I implemented project road-maps and executed implementation of a series of ETL pipelines in order to horizontally scale migration offerings across clients and 5 global regions.
